Anne-Louise Gannon ESA-SRB-AOTA 2019

Anne-Louise Gannon

Dr Gannon completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh in 2018 investigating the role of adrenal hormones on life-long health. Thus far, her research focus has been on the role of nuclear receptors in adrenal cortex regulation. In 2018, she was recruited by the University of Newcastle as a Postdoctoral Research Associate to continue this work whilst developing and establishing a new laboratory. Dr Gannon’s current interests centre on an NHMRC funded project developing novel biotechnology to target the adrenal cortex, whilst further elucidating the role of adrenal androgens in adrenal regulation and androgen driven diseases.
