Lachlan Moldenhauer
Dr Lachlan Moldenhauer received his PhD from the University of Adelaide in 2008, and is currently based at the Robinson Research Institute, Adelaide University. His research investigates the mechanisms by which the maternal immune system establishes immune tolerance at the outset of pregnancy to allow for embryo implantation, placentation and fetal development. In particular, the activation of maternal regulatory T cells during the peri-conception period and how inappropriate priming of the maternal T cell repertoire impacts on fetal development and pathologies of pregnancy.
